Senior Director / VP Business Development

We have an immediate opening for a Senior Director / VP of Business Development to drive sales of viihealth SaaS based of solutions to top tier life sciences companies. This full time position will be based in the Greater Philadelphia area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a results oriented sales leader with experience in selling solutions to commercial life sciences companies. This role requires a highly motivated, organized and disciplined individual who is comfortable interfacing with a diverse set of customers - from senior managers to corporate IT - and is able to engage, communicate, consult and close effectively.

Responsibilities include:

  • Drive Strategic Client Development for key accounts to optimize opportunity.
  • Achieve business development and sales targets.
  • Develop subject matter expertise in viihealth solutions and offerings.
  • Identify lead sources, negotiate and close contracts with target clients.
  • Build, execute, and maintain account management and sales strategies for all target prospects, partners and clients.
  • Prepare / present proposals and recommend /sell solutions based on client needs.
  • Works closely with management on strategic business initiatives.
  • Attend industry seminars, meetings or educational activities to stay up-to-date on the latest developments, and trends in the market place.
  • Manage sales pipeline, tracks budgets and projections.

Required Skills | Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7-10 years of combined experience in Business Development and B2B sales to enterprise clients.
  • A proven record of success in consultative selling - preferably SaaS solutions - to pharmaceutical /Life science commercial areas.
  • A proven track record of collaboration and developing positive business relationships.
  • Experience working with agencies, consulting companies, and innovative technology or commercial solutions providers to the Life Science industry, is preferred.
  • Excellent writing skills / experience responding to major enterprise RFPs.
  • Experience managing major strategic accounts with penetration into multiple client groups.
  • Ability drive client engagement and close contracts through create successful sales strategies.
  • Ability to converse in a knowledgeable manner on various industry topics and technologies to create sales opportunities with prospective customers.
  • Highly developed organizational, planning, management, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Technology savvy with experience with Microsoft Office and various mobile platforms.
  • High energy, credibility, creativity, intellectual curiosity, drive, persistency, and achievement focus.
  • High integrity, professional standards, and work ethic.
  • A Bachelors degree in in related field. (MBA preferred).

Senior Director / VP Marketing

‪We have an immediate opening for a Senior Marketing Leader with an entrepreneurial mindset to lead our Marketing Team and help us drive growth with our SaaS based of products and services. This full time position will be based in the Greater Philadelphia area.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing high level marketing strategy and activities for the launch and ongoing Go-To-Market for the product, working with leadership to establish long term growth strategies
  • Product management and leading the positioning, messaging, branding segmentation, and marketing plans
  • Lead digital marketing efforts to improve user acquisition and retention
  • Generating quantifiable objectives and metrics, to measure results and understand client needs
  • Collaborate with IT /Development team for the long term product vision
  • Support business development, client engagement and strategic initiatives

Required Skills | Qualifications:

  • ‪Minimum of 10 years of general marketing experience including product management and digital marketing in B2B environment
  • ‪Minimum 2 years of experience in new product launches.
  • ‪Minimum of 2 years in an entrepreneurial SaaS environment directing and formulating marketing strategy in B2B environment
  • Strong understanding of the Pharmaceutical /Life Science industry with documented sales and marketing experience.
