mbenthin-profile.png Mark Benthin, Founder | Executive Chairman - Mark is a serial entrepreneur with a proven record in delivering creative solutions involving cloud computing, data-centric applications, and mobile enterprise collaboration. Prior to viihealth, Mark founded Aptilon Corporation, where he developed the first remote physician detailing mobile solution for life sciences. As leader of commercial operations and business development, Mark was instrumental in growing the company to $33MM in annual revenue and divesting that piece of the business. He is on the board of DMD Connects, a cloud-based Health IT data company. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering (Summa Cum Laude) from McMaster University.
sverma-profile.png Sunny Verma, Founder | President - Sunny is a highly motivated Entrepreneur Executive with a demonstrated ability to build and scale innovative solutions to engage physicians and patients. Driven by the core belief that all work should engage people and inspire action, Sunny blends EQ with IQ to frame choices and drive results. Prior to founding viihealth, Sunny spent 20 years in various commercial roles at Merck, where he developed the US multi-channel strategy and was responsible for building / integrating digital channels such as e-detailing, e-education, and e-mail. He pioneered integrated digital channel campaigns and built capabilities to drive customer experience and engagement. Sunny is a passionate champion of human-centric design and customer-centric differentiation. He holds a BA in Chemistry from Loyola Chicago and an MBA from the University of Iowa.
ahailey-profile.png Arthur Healey, CPA, JD, Chief Financial Officer - Art is a CPA and Licensed Attorney with 30 years’ experience serving entrepreneurial technology companies. Art has served sixteen plus years as CFO and fourteen years as CPA for Big 4 public accounting firms including six years as Senior Manager for EY, three years as Manager at PWC (formerly Coopers & Lybrand) and three years as Supervisor at KPMG. As CFO, Art led the finance function for both publicly traded and privately held companies on both a full and part-time basis, raising capital through private placements with angel investors and venture capital firms.  He has also implemented accounting systems, negotiated mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships and government contracts.  As Senior Manager for EY, Art led the company’s Philadelphia healthcare tax practice and advised clients on corporate transactions, stock option plans and other accounting and tax matters.  Art graduated from Villanova Law School cum laude and Villanova University with BS in Accounting.  Art is a licensed CPA in New York and Pennsylvania and is a licensed attorney in Pennsylvania.

Our Advisors

Mark DegatanoMark brings a wide range of in-depth industry expertise to our Advisory Board. He has over 30 years of Pharma industry experience spanning the client, vendor, and start-up areas. He was with Merck for 24 years, with his last role as VP, Customer Insights and COO of ComSort (a wholly-owned Merck subsidiary). He has worked for and with numerous data and service providers to the Pharmaceutical industry, including ImpactRx, ActivateNetworks, Medivo, Verix, IMS, RealHealth Data, and Aptus Health. He has lead the development and commercialization of data-based solutions for helping pharmaceutical companies improve brand performance and grow sales. Mark has a BA in Mathematics and an MA in Statistics, both from Boston University.
